Anthony B. White

South Florida Personal Injury & Civil Litigation Trial Attorney

One of the more frustrating aspects of the legal process from a client perspective can be a lack of understanding about how the case is progressing and what they should expect. Mr. White works to minimize this frustration by making himself available to clients throughout their entire case and explaining complex legal issues so that the client can actually understand the proceedings and the rationale behind the legal strategies he chooses to employ on their behalf.

Mr. White was born in New York City and grew up in upstate New York. While earning his B.A. in Government at Clark University in Worcester, MA, he was selected to work for the Honorable Hamilton Fish, Jr. in Washington, DC, the ranking minority member of the House Judiciary Committee.

He then attended Nova Southeastern Law School, where he had the distinction of interning at the Broward County Public Defender’s Office and working on countless criminal matters through trial. He graduated in 1994 and has been practicing law in South Florida ever since, focusing on personal injury, wrongful death, car accidents, premises liability, and cruise ship injuries. He is dedicated to protecting the rights of individuals and assisting families of loved ones who have been injured through the negligence of others.

Before joining John K. Lawlor and Ben Murphey in 2009, Mr. White was the managing partner of a personal injury law firm in Hollywood, Florida. Currently, he is an active Eagle member of the Florida Justice Association, a Board of Directors member of the Broward County Trial Lawyers, a member of the American Association for Justice and the Broward Bar Association. Mr. White was the President of the Broward County Trial Lawyers in 1994.. Mr. White is admitted to practice before all Florida courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

What Clients Can Expect in Selecting Anthony White to Protect Their Legal Rights

Accident victims and injured parties need a lawyer with exceptional legal reasoning skills and experience navigating the legal system to succeed in recovering fair financial compensation for the harm they have sustained. However, selecting a lawyer can be about much more than the lawyer’s basic knowledge and experience. It can be equally important that a client feels comfortable approaching his or her lawyer with their questions and concerns.

Mr. White is proud that his clients can expect both aspects of the equation when they select him as legal counsel. He has successfully helped hundreds of clients recover fair compensation for their injuries by putting his legal knowledge to work for each and every client. Mr. White puts in the hard work necessary to research every case thoroughly and develop the most persuasive possible strategies for recovering the maximum available amount of compensation. He also works to make sure his clients know that he is available and willing to answer any question that they have as their case progresses.

Mr. White believes in working both with and for his clients to obtain the best possible results in every case he takes on. Knowledge of the client’s personal needs and how the harm they have suffered has impacted their lives is one of the most useful tools that any lawyer has, and Mr. White believes in making sure his clients know that they come first.

Attorney White’s Motivation for Practicing Law

In some cases, accident victims and injured parties may feel uncomfortable approaching a lawyer, so might refrain from seeking out the legal guidance necessary to recover the compensation that they actually need after sustaining an injury. For many of these clients, the settlement award they receive is woefully insufficient to cover expenses related to the injury.

Mr. White prides himself on being an approachable advocate for every one of his clients so that they can get the legal assistance they need. While he is always available to answer client questions personally, he frequently initiates contact with clients to keep them apprised of case progress so that they are not left wondering whether their case has slipped through the cracks. Mr. White takes this approach to give effect to his belief that every client deserves the best possible legal representation in their case, which includes regular contact with their attorney.
